Because of how long the Disbelief OST is, I chose the themes I liked best and condensed them into a single remix (mostly Backbone and a small part of Interstellar), otherwise it's too much content for me to remix into a single track without it being super long, so this remix is mainly focused on Phase 3 ^o^ I can consider doing individual remixes of the phases depending on if you guys are interested in that, though they probably won't be back to back and instead weaved into my schedule of other planned stuff~ (＾▽＾)

Wanted to try an attempt of phonk in my style, learned a lot though it didn't turn out exactly what I was aiming for originally (which was aggressive phonk), so I made it more of a chill phonky club vibe. I'll have to give it another attempt, I still wanna remix malevolence as aggressive phonk but I'll need to study the genre some more until then! ^-^
I also wanted to add some ethnic instrument elements as I've had that idea for a while with a new malevolence remix, just for fun and to spice things up~

It is the end of an era...

As a 19-year-old! Today I'm turning 20! *cries* I'm old now (not quitting yet lol)

Hey fam! No, you're not imagining things I did upload this track before (about 3 years ago). However, I quickly took it down because I realized that I had rushed it to the point there were glaring mixing errors that I wasn't happy with. Now, I've done this before with certain tracks but they usually never see that light of day again afterward. But, as I was looking through some of my old project files (I was trying to organize them for once in my life are you proud?) I stumbled across this again and actually really enjoyed the composition. So, I decided to completely re-do the mixing and mastering from scratch! 

For many of you, the changes might not be super noticeable but this actually took around 10 hours to clean everything up lol. I also made some changes to the instrumentation (switching out certain drum samples, pitching them up/down, or adding effects to some of the instruments) and even added a new melody to the very end of the track because I thought it fit better. You might think these are minor changes but I'm actually so incredibly satisfied with how this track sounds now. I think it might actually be my favorite track in terms of mixing and mastering at this point.

In other news, I'm back from an extended hiatus. I took time off to focus on some mental health struggles that I've been wrestling with but I'm more or less back on my feet as of now. I won't be returning to my other social medias (Discord, Twitter, Instagram, Patreon etc.) but I will start uploading here and on SC again. I think a little space from interacting with folks directly is what I need atm as I've come to value my privacy quite a lot. (I'll still be active replying in the comments tho!) Hoi! Wanted to write something fun and decided to do something inspired from Nightmare (･ω･ )☆ I've been having a good time writing original music & Electrostatic honestly did a lot better than I had expected on the channel (to my pleasant surprise), so I thought "Hmm wouldn't it be fun if I wrote more original music inspired from other characters?" I didn't see too much on the music side of YT for Nightmare and this character had intrigued me quite a bit for years, so now was a good time to give it a shot.

My initial plan for this was to go industrial & abstract, but that quickly changed into some weird hybrid DnB. I also hadn't planned to incorporate so many melodic elements such as the chord progression drop at 1:17, but I fell in love with it and just had to keep it. I adored the contrast and it was a delicate little melodic accident I was really happy to happen upon. I'd say for sure it's my favorite part of the track, and that's coming from someone who loves her bass drops a bit too much sometimes (ง •̀ω•́)ง✧

Anywho, if you have any suggestions for AU characters I should write something for/check out, feel free to let me know! I've always enjoyed writing original music and I'm feeling up for challenges ( ﾟ▽ﾟ)/
