Yard time. A bittersweet piece built on small harmonic ambiguities. On violin my friend  @Rosindust. We played a classical guitar, a violin, an electric bass, a piano and an ostinato digital oboe.

To the memory of Wilbur and Orville Wright.
The guitar sound is very rudimentary, like the ‘heavier-than-air’ machine that first lifted off the ground with a pilot on board in late 1903.

Robert Sharl began recording his own compositions in 2023, releasing them on his Futurilla Sound label. His releases to date have encompassed electronic mood pieces, treated guitar sketches, ambient field recordings, and original soundtracks for experimental films. His second album OCHRE, a return to guitar-based compositions, was released in January 2025, and OCHRE SONGS, a companion collection of vocal demos, is released on December 12th.
