Inspired by I-f in the late 90ies Ian Martin started to follow the path of underground quality music. Always finding his own sound within the alternative sonic spectrum. His DJ career started as a resident at the Rotterdam Bootleg DJ cafe, where underground freaks came together.

Nowadays Ian Martin is a seasoned artist and DJ in the underground electronic music scene. His DJ sets create exhilarating combinations and musical and apocalyptic madness. From acid to electro and techno, he always presents the pearls of the genres. As an artist he has more than 25 releases on his track record on labels like Bunker, Strange Life, Pinkman, New York Haunted, Minimal Rome and many others.

Always eclectic, ranging from electro, minimal wave, techno and dark ambient and drones. Melancholic at times. His weekly show SEER on the epochal Intergalactic FM has brought kaleidoscopic music into the scene. Also he has residencies at Operator and Mutant.

Being full of contradictions (sophisticated yet raw, apocalyptic yet divine/celestial), his sets guarantee originality, stormy and melodic mania. Music for the Universe!

Chloe Harris aka Raica is a DJ and music producer who has gained a substantial following through her original tracks posted on SoundCloud. She began producing music in 1998, initially focusing on progressive house, but in 2012, she transitioned to experimental synth music, marking a significant shift in her creative direction. Known for her eclectic and evolving sound, Raica’s work blends atmospheric synths with intricate compositions, earning her a respected place in the electronic music community. In addition to her production career, she is a co-head and co-owner of the Discogs store and label Further Records. A native of Seattle, her work is deeply influenced by her connection to the Pacific Northwest music scene.

Bianco Negativo is an Italian duo project established in 2019 by Davide Pestillo and Claudio Cuccovillo. They have been building their discography over the last years with releases on labels such as their own Marguerite Records, Warsaw-based Syntetyk and Glasgow-based Lunacy. @Kondaktor compiles music from the Interwar Years (1922-1940), a tumultuous time of political divide between monarchists and supporters of democracy, where Greece saw the influx of refugees from Asia Minor in 1922, went through the economic Crash of 1929, the return of monarchy and the Metaxas dictatorship. The mix creates a vivid portrait of this period and invites connections with the Athens of now, in a present filled with its own kind of uncertainty and economic stress.

In this collaboration, Radboud Mens and I explore the tension between stasis and movement. Operating within the realm of drone and electroacoustic music, we construct a sonic landscape where sustained tones and microscopic events constantly shape and reshape each other. What initially appears static reveals itself to be rich with detail: tiny acoustic shifts breathe life into apparent stillness, inviting focused and attentive listening.

The album emerged from a process where sound research, improvisation, and sound design merge. Self-built instruments, the search for timbre and texture, and recordings of the learning process itself form the foundation of these compositions. Rather than following a traditional musical structure, the result is a sonic field in which the minimal continually transforms depending on the listener’s perspective. This is a layered and handcrafted album that doesn’t narrate, but questions. Marking A Boundary With The Turning Point is not a boundary. It’s an invitation to listen differently.
