"Red River" finds its origin hidden behind the rolling hills and green covered mountains of the Daniel Boone National Forest, where lies Kentucky’s lush take on the Grand Canyon — the Red River Gorge. The singer-songwriter found his inspiration for the song from atop the “Clifty Wilderness,” where he could look down at the canyons below.

The single comes from What We Say We Are, a 7-track, Folk/Americana record that allows listeners to poke fun at the duplicitous way we, at times, decide to live our lives. The record also features "Hands & Knees," a track filled with beautiful, string-accompanied moments; "Straight Bourbon Whiskey," which enters with a raw and hard-hitting energy; and the listener is left with a stunning crescendo in "Rescind My Fear."

What We Say We Are is set to release September 30th and is currently only available for pre-order at https://tylersjostrom.bandcamp.com/releases (Bandcamp).

Adam Jensen - Sandcastles (ToWonder x Severo Remix)

This song is a personal one and close to my heart. It's about breaking free from the toxic things that weigh us down. It's about finding ones freedom. It tells a story of a young woman. An urban tale of sorts. I find bits of my story in her. You may too. 

This single also marks the beginning of a journey towards publicly releasing my first body of original work, #BennettAve. Which will be available for digital purchase later this month!

I wanted to tell a story with this project. From the music to the artwork. So I sat down and brainstormed with my brother, fellow artist, Jeremiah Jae and commissioned him to create the artwork for this single and the album to follow.
