Onyr is the electronic music project of London-based drummer and producer Dave Storey. After making his debut in 2025 with releases on Sweden’s AEDI Records and BEAM Records, he now unveils his first full EP, Hydrus, released on the French label 909 Connection.

Drawing on his deep rhythmic sensibility and expansive musical background, his productions blend an eclectic mix of organic textures, psychedelia, and deep techno into a distinctly polyrhythmic and hypnotic sound. The result is an immersive sonic world that bridges the acoustic and electronic, built on carefully crafted grooves, euphoric atmospheres, and a drive to explore different states of consciousness.

To complete the EP, STUPR made a tribal and dubby interpretation of Rainmaker, and R.2614 remixed Swirl, adding his unique occult touch to the release.

Hydrus introduces Onyr as an artist with a clear and compelling sonic identity.

Lobster returns to it's scorched earth roots with a dark, gritty blend of techno-based power traxx from New York staple Heidi Sabertooth.

Tracks scraped from the surface of the NY underground. Proper hardware jams with a raw, scorched edge!

Eyes Are Watching combines punched kicks, squelched synths and pitched-down grunting mosh vox. The mood then lightens a touch for the hypnotic, dusty hardware workout Non Such. Jackin' Chitown vibes peppered with plucked & arp'd synths.

On the flip Makin Cutz is pure can-recorded techno. Overdrive-central in a caged industrial basement. Detuned acid & raw af hammering drum programming. Then for the finishing move, Weeding Through Distortion adds some off-club IDM-tinged sonic flavour to proceedings. Echoes of early Warp (think elements of Autechre live in Wakefield in the early 90's) shot through with some hard US noise processing. A tough, melodic gem.

Since 2013, Berlin-based @aeoniclabel has continuously pushed the limits of exceptional and timeless techno and house, blurring boundaries and maintaining a clear vision in unabashed originality and creativity. Now comes the birth of @aeon-audio's innovative sub-label æonic; a non-conformist nebula of electronic sounds, within but not confined to the realms of Techno, Ambient, Experimental and Electronica.

Æonic defies tradition and stereotypes, with the only intent being to sculpt the artists visionary sound, completely on their own creative terms. The label will be christened by an intoxicating new album “Lost Knowledge”, by Neapolitan brothers TVA & le visionnaire, aka Marco and Francesco Paolo. The two have been steadily crafting their unique collaborated sound from their creatively charged backgrounds in art direction and classical musicianship; releasing initially on AEON as well as Belgium label Curle. Their debut album released on Æonic will also feature two exclusive EPs with remixes from Berghain resident Answer Code Request, as well as Redshape and Lake People.

“Lost Knowledge” glows with a spectral and expansive ambient techno pulse, that exudes the masterful production of the two producers.

“Lost Knowledge” as a record is an unforgettable culmination of both TVA & le visionaires flair as producers and AEON aka Æonic’s creative direction for their artists, combining their signature evocative ambient techno with firm nods to the club.
