About:
Salaam Kalyubia is a young producer hailing from Paris. His interests lead him to the more surreal, psychedelic and spiritual sides of music, while assuming a clear tropism towards the Orient. In his mixtapes, he strives to render emotional soundscapes, to reimagine memories through sounds or to create dreamy soundtracks for the movies he'd like to see.

This one was born with the idea of a late summer afternoon, when the sense of an ending creates a particularly nostalgic atmosphere, the passing of a lost paradise.

Inhmost is one of the monikers of S.Huxtable who wanted a representation for the more ambient and downtempo works that he creates which would allow the freedom of expression within these genres, deep space atmospheres and otherworldly soundscapes are the order of the day.
Situated in the South West of England the local area provides the backdrop for inspiration with the coast and countryside allowing an escape into the wild for moments of reflection.

This August, it has been two years since launching the first iteration of the 9128.live 24/7 streaming site + app. 

We didn’t know back then, that the additional live weekend takeovers would be such an escape for us all during the lockdowns and a way to connect, keep a small community together and discover even more new music. We are thrilled to welcome Heliopora from Melifera Records with a perfectly crafted down-to-mid tempo immersive podcast.

Here are his words to introduce the mix :
"This podcast tells the story of an underwater exploration. A diver notices a blue whale in the distance. As he gets further into the deep blueness of the sea, a new world appears before his eyes. Filled with curiosity and emotion from this encounter, he lets himself be guided by the mysteries of the ocean in an attempt to catch a glimpse of rorqual once more."

Heliopora is a DJ from Marseille. Co-founder of Melifera Records, his personal project aims to bring together his two passions, music and diving.
He is influenced by the deepest techno sprinkled with dub sounds that reveal sunny and watery soundscapes. His set immerses us in the deep blue world along the Mediterranean coast, discovering what lives below the surface.

Born and raised between the fantastic mountain valleys of the Italian Dolomites and the industrial city of Ludwigshafen in Germany.
Spent most of his childhood playing in the woods. This past still connects him inseparably from nature and its forms of life.
He tries to convey this feeling of the infinite timelessness of the soul of nature with music in an understandable language.
Words can only approximate this.

His DJ sets are always driving, ritualistic.
Natural sounds and hypnotic melodies allow the listener to reach another state of consciousness.

This is how he describes his vision:
 “when time and space lose their meaning, when everyone is connected in unison to the music, united in one energy bubble, 
then the perfect state is reached. 
No thought separates us from the great unit. Only knowledge and joy move us to the beat“.

His productions are experimental, unorthodox. Since he is not a musician, he uses this "ignorance" and the freedom that results from it. 
Hypnotic rhythms and driving beats characterize his tracks, always filled with natural sounds.
The listener is transported in a space that seems to exist between the stars. Deep in his heart he believes in infinity and that time and space are only imaginations.
His goal is to express these inner feelings with music, so in 2021 he set out to develop his musical language.


“This journey will be endless, full of universes yet to be explored and they are all within us“.

non-edited recording of my sound installation 'Eternal Darkness' (http://www.roberthenke.com/installations/eternal_darkness.html). The reverb on the recording is the actual sound of the room. The pipe-like noisy  sounds are generated using physical modeling techniques, and the composition is algorithmic and does never repeat. So this recording is just an excerpt of an infinitely long process. At the beginning of the recording I walked out of the water reservoir and turned on the MaxMSP patch that starts the beast.
