Sharps hails from Vancouver BC, and pushes at the edges of dance music, fusing west coast bass, carribean riddim and UK underground. Diversity and dancefloor bounce are the mission.

Sharps began crafting beats amidst the early rave culture and IDM experimentation of the 90s. Since those days, his music has grown, and brought him to international stages from London UK, to the bay area, and back home to Vancouver BC. A few early breakthrough tunes from '07-'09 put his name on the bass music map, with Night Work, Girl Sweat, and his remix of Ginuwine's Pony. Voyages through the Americas inspired the fusion of reggaeton and dancehall into west coast bass music, and he began producing his signature dembow bass tunes. Sharps blurs the edges of genre to create hybrid dancefloor tunes.
