Lo-Phile Recordings is an online, digital, free-download-based label/collective, specializing in digital hardcore, synthpunk, and lo-fi rock 'n roll. Started in 2014 by Sam Sinister (Shart 69, Snare-Master, Sump Pump Sluts), Lo-Phile Recordings' mission is:
 
•To promote electronic music as more than just "dance music."  
•To defend production methods and technologies such as synthesizers, drum machines, samplers, computers, etc. as legitimate instruments and means of creating music. 
•To promote punk rock aesthetics in electronic music. 
•To encourage and support new and relatively unknown artists and producers.
 
Lo-Phile Recordings is based in Lakewood, Ohio, and will be releasing free, legal, digital downloads of raw, dirty, and energetic electronic music via Bandcamp. We'll be looking to curate, promote, and collaborate with like-minded musicians and producers. If you're interested, just drop us a line.
