No Don Draper

This concept album will be made entirely with battery operated gear, including the recording device, and without the use of a computer. All gear was either free or cost < $60 . 
It also has a subtitle; "Post-Relapse Canon" and will be updated as progress inevitably ensues. This album is an open letter of apology in a made-up language and comments of all kind are welcome.

I've been lobbing my love like a hand-grenade. 
But it never can resist the earth's pull.
I've been shuffling my feet 'cause there's somewhere i'd rather be.
But i'm here. And it sucks. And it's cold.
I could step on your love like a landmine.
Frozen stiff, or blasted to smithereens.
Maybe we could make a deal outside these killing fields.
Make it out alive as a team.
We might not make it out alive this time. So let's just try to, at least, feel good.
We might not ever have the chance again, to be friends, within these bodies.
I could sharpen my words like a bayonet.
You could sow all of my fields with salt.
But then we both run out of money and there ain't no milk or honey.
And no more mystery who's holding the fault.
I could lay two sticks like a crucifix,
and drive a nail right where they meet.
But if you're bitter an honest, just put a little sugar on it.
And it goes down much more easily.
We might not make it out alive this time. So let's just try to, at least, look good..
We might not ever have the chance again, to make amends, for all our priceless folly. 
There is a joke that is a long time told, but not one soul has yet to laugh. 
You can paint your sense of humor black,
But heart attacks still aren't funny.
