Shaun Collins is a Portsmouth-based DJ . Originally, part of a DJ double act alongside Mark Harbert, going by the alias’s DJ Dangermouse & Penfold. Hugely influenced by the sound and style of dance music played at the “The Manor” nightclub in Verwood before it closed down in November 1999. Inspired by the likes of the late Tony de Vit, Paul van Dyk, Knuckleheadz, Paul Oakenfold, Blu Peter, Mark Allen and Man With No Name. Gaining early residencies at the relatively small trance nights “Transcend” and “Space Cadet” in 1999 & 2000 which opened the door to residencies at the “Fishtank” nights in 2001 and a second residency in 2002, this time on the “Steamin!” boat parties which operated out of Portsmouth which ran until 2006.
