The Westminster Shorter Catechism set to music.
I originally created this as a teaching tool for the children in our church. By God's kind providence and grace, word of this project somehow got out to some missionaries in China, and they've been using it for several years now.

It took me several years, and several rewrites of the tunes (all are original, with the exception of 4 by classical composers: Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart) in order to create this complete set of the 107 answers to the WSC questions.

These tunes, as corny as some of them are, just might be catchy enough to stick in your mind, and bring these precious doctrines to remembrance, as you have time to consider them, unpack them, meditate upon them, and thereby upon the Scriptures from which they are derived.

Fly from Here is the twentieth studio album from the English progressive rock band Yes. Their first studio album since Magnification (2001), it is also the only one to feature Canadian singer Benoît David, and only the second album (after 1980's Drama) without former singer Jon Anderson and with keyboardist Geoff Downes . The lineup is David, Downes, bassist Chris Squire, guitarist Steve Howe and drummer Alan White. The album was produced by Trevor Horn, who was the singer on Drama, and who had previously produced 90125 (1983) and a few tracks on Big Generator (1987).

The Westminster Shorter Catechism set to music.
I originally created this for a teaching tool for the children at Trinity Presbyterian Church, in Providence, RI, but by God kind providence and grace, word of it somehow got to some missionaries in China, and they've been using it for several years now.

It took me several years, and several rewrites of these tunes (all are original, with the exception of 4 by classical composers: Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart) in order to create this complete set of all 107 answers to the WSC questions. I can neither read music nor play a musical instrument. But I was able to get ahold of some annotation software and put each track together, note by note (there were no "magic buttons" to create anything), and then layer my voice(s) over them.

These "kiddie pop" tunes, as I call them, as corny as they are, might be catchy enough to stick in your mind, and bring these precious doctrines to remembrance, as you have time to consider them, unpack them, meditate upon them, and the Scriptures from which they are derived.
