 There are only two kinds of musician. Those who want to play music and those who have to play. Music is a friend that comforts without judgement. Music is a challenge that rewards investment.  Music is a companion on long nights spent alone. Music holds memories in defiance of time. Music weaves its way into the very fabric of the day and makes any atmosphere better for it's presence. Music is the soundtrack of our lives. An expression of the soul. A connection to something higher. Music is therapy. Music is hope. To see the beauty of music one only has to imagine life without it. To feel the power of music is to open up. Music is a place to be honest. It's the saddest, funniest, most serious, silliest thing you've ever heard. Music is a savior. A guiding light through the darkest times. Music is necessary. Music is the universal language . Music breaks down barriers and builds self esteem. Through trial and fire, music will separate the do from the don'ts, the cans from the cant's, and the wills from wont's. 
Because when all is said and done, there are only two kinds of musicians.
Real words and real life experience that resonates with wisdom. The skinny long legged one weaving webbed tales to ensnare to curious. These songs invite you in and then your stuck them. They work their way into the cracks of your subconscious. They revisit as a line or phrase drops back into the routine of the day and you find yourself singing it under your breath on the way to burn away your ten minute break on the back of a red dog.  
It's the undeniable feeling of hearing something intensely intimate and personal while being able to relate to each and every line.  Feeling every word as if you yourself had lived it.
It is the work of a person dedicated to observation and illumination.
