German duo Obscure Shape & SHDW drop three robust Techno tracks in their first full release on Rekids this May.

One of the most exciting acts in Techno today, Obscure Shape & SHDW are the founders of From Another Mind - the label and party series making waves in South-Germany. Aside from Rekids, where they remixed Radio Slave’s ‘Vision’ last year, the pair’s abilities in the studio have seen them invited by Slam for two separate remixes of Monoloc and Envoy on Soma, with more projects to be announced.

‘Himmel Und Erde’ is a cavernous cut boasting colossal kicks and skipping percussion before a tantalising melody comes into play. ‘Am Ende Der Welt’ is more deep and atmospheric in comparison, blending dusky percussion with echoing synths until ‘Gefallene Engel’ demonstrates syncopated drums and an otherworldly hook that conjure up a mesmerising aesthetic to conclude the release.

Terence Fixmer und Introversion remixen "Love Distortion": Terence rockt mit einem massiven Gitarrenriff und extra fetter Perkussion, während Introversion seinem Rework ein dunkleres Gefühl verleiht und ein Trance-inspiriertes Element hinzufügt, um den Hörer zu hypnotisieren und in eine andere Dimension zu versetzen. Regal droppt einen "XTC Remix" von "Electronic Joy" mit energiegeladener Percussion und bezauberndem Retro-Feeling. Abschließend gibt es einen weiteren Original Edit von "Love Distortion", der eine harmonisierende Version des Killer-Originals bietet.

Italian techno producer Alignment returns to Regal’s Involve Records with a heavy four track release entitled ‘1992’.  

When not making regular appearances on voxnox Records, Alignment has been releasing on Involve Records, Etruria Beat and Charlotte de Witte’s KNTXT. His tracks have received regular support from the upper echelons of techno, including Richie Hawtin, Ben Klock, Chris Liebing and Amelie Lens, with the latter including his collaboration with Regal in her fabric mix compillation. Debuting on Regal’s label in 2018, he now makes a highly anticipated return to Involve Records.  

Opening with ‘1992’, a thundering cut with rave elements, crystalline stabs and indistinct vocals - this release is a white knuckle ride from the word go. ‘1993’ is next with its offbeat hats and infectous melody as kick drums pummel you into submission, followed by the murkier sounding ‘1994’ which features industrial sounds alongside various zips and zaps. Concluding the package, ‘1995’ is the most hypnotic inclusion courtesy of whirring synths that evolve into a screaming lead.
