Shay Mooney is	a twenty-­‐year-­‐old singer/songwriter who hails from the small town of Natural Dam Arkansas. He	was introduced	to music at a very early	age with the help of the church	 where his	mother played piano	and father	 played bass and steel guitar. Recognizing his gift, Shay’s parents took	him, along with	 his two sisters,	 all across	 Arkansas singing in	churches, competitions and festivals. At age fourteen Shay began making trips to Nashville to record with the talented	Mark	Moseley. At age sixteen Shay was given his first guitar which he quickly taught himself to play. With his newly	
acquired skill, Shay began	 writing and composing his own music. His music is	influenced	 from certain genres	such	as Gospel,	 Country, Rock, Alternative, and even a dash of	 R&B. By the age of seventeen, Shay had already recorded two studio albums so he	is no	stranger to the	process.	
Shay has recently shared	the stage with Kaleena of	Dirty	Money at the BMI Live From Loews event. Shay	has also recently been in the studio working with	the likes of Dallas Austin,	The Peach	 Pickers, Jeffery	Steele, and Luke Laird just to name a few. Shay	 now	teams up with Grammy Award	winning	artist	 T-­‐Pain to embark on a new journey and make his dreams a reality.
