I wrote the bones of this song during a moment of grieving. So many people have lost their lives too soon, and sometimes it can be overwhelming when you're grieving more than one person.

The vocals are from one of Mac Miller's interviews talking about his darker music and how he had planned for his new album to be a little different. After CharlesTheFirst passed away I revisited a lot of his and Mac's music and decided to dedicate this song to them, and really just all the folks we as a community have lost too soon. 

I also wanted to release a lighter tune after the first single that I released through Errl Sesh, which was a very abrassive bass/dnb tune.  For this reason I decided to add some saxophone in the song as well!

From the depths of the void, a new entity has been formed, an entity of sound: SHB▽SS. SHB▽SS is curated by Rowan Bear, a musician born and raised in the underground scene of Missoula, Montana. As a member of the Montana-based group Errl Sesh, he fuses raw bass and live saxophone, opening a portal within the moment and a chance to become closer to the collective consciousness.
