"Moments Of Sonder" is a concept album around the phenomenon of "sonder", an instant realization that every person has a life as complex and complicated as your own. 

I invite you to walk through the city of your dreams with me: We will look up the high rises and wonder what lives unfold behind the millions of windows. We will walk down to the subway and go on a ride with Mellon Collie. We will meet amazing people and hear wonderful and sometimes difficult stories, we will briefly listen in while passing by and then move on. I hope that you will find your own moment of sonder in the music.

Auralnauts & She's Excited! - Star Wars: Dark Side EP

This is a sound sculpture by She's Excited! featuring Clara Francesca for the exhibition #MakeUsVisible in Venice, Italy. It is showcased at the Off-Biennale at the Venice Climate Change Pavilion.

“Entangled Waters” by She’s Excited! invites you on an immersive journey into the sounds of the mediterranean sea and the Venice lagoon. Peaceful soundscapes of seagulls and the ocean are juxtaposed with the threatening reality the lagoon is facing: noise and water pollution, thunderstorms and high water. Some 20 million visitors flood into Venice each year. Vaporettos and other ships disrupt flora and fauna. The sea levels are rising and Venice is sinking. There is no Planet B. We are inescapably entangled with our surroundings and our environment. 
The soundbites performed by Clara Francesca are from Anton Chekhov’s play “Uncle Vanya” and from Donna Haraway’s “Staying With The Trouble”: This is an urgency, not an emergency. Stay with the trouble. 

“Entangled Waters” is an iteration of the soundscape for the performance art piece “Inescapable Entanglement” by MEDIACOELI and XRE, which premiered at Ars Electronica Festival 2022.

Flight (feat. She's Excited! & Couch King Presents)

This is the title track of my new instrumental EP called INK.
In between projects I felt the urge to experiment with distortion and compose only with instruments I had never used before. Just for fun. Just for enjoying the creative part of making music.
I ended up with three compositions that I grew very fond of. A soundtrack for dark nights. A surge of anger and defiance. A desire to rest.
I hope you'll enjoy the work and that it can become your soundtrack somehow, too.

Blots is a mesmerizing trail to explore, a hollow lead, an energizing escape.
The track is from my EP called INK: It is completely instrumental, a soundtrack of a sort, an experiment with distortion and a return to dark electronica.

A retreat is propagating. The gourmet menu tastes far too good. Does the longing forget the sunset glow and feign death? Want to lose myself in the anxiety brain, live in enclosures,
along fences and walls regretting the borders? Who shall be secure then, who can feel secure? The one who allows it, eats through to the rat tail 
and perishs friendly waving? Gentleman's offence, posthumous message. How many wounds must recover until it was a good life?

Stop is moveable and movement goes, feelings are earthy and thinking passes. Does the search turn me to myself?
My day wants me, I am the center of my world. Prise the variety out of my soul and make it howl, wolfish! Win me, day by day, and lose, but not lasting!
 I draw on unlimited resources, dismiss the fear, grow out of myself.  I want you and I don't want you, lust for life, 
the full-loaded, the day souvenir.   The lamb breaks out of the flock, the shepherd carries his lot, all becomes earth. What flashes, and shows the way, the neon sign, the place that calls us? The word that was in the beginning? God speaks? How many ideals must fall for the bedstead? Who throws the time stone? Who catches it? I am here because it is so. And if I go, it is no other place.
Solar days, solar years maybe.

March on the trail of millions, cosmically on the way, and still these traces traverse us, solar tracks, runway. From the sun I come, the tail in me, comet with king's load, boot that goes around the world. Celebration mood?   
I am the rear guard and I also was the vanguard. Life-bubble, which turns me inside out and back, turns me out of the boundless partnership with me into the great vault, the storm in which you are, too. Here we are gyrating colorful and sore towards the sun.

Tambour soleil, beat me the heart tact! And I go the way that wraps around feet and involves. The life-pads are stained. Life does not work as I want and no "no!" brings me off. But still: life is fun! I pick the night dream, in wings at home!!

Don't leave me, solar flock, my solar sisters and brothers of old myriads! Who dances this run to an end? Laughter is there and music. So, dear mountain of desire, praised my life should be!

My heart is limitless, happy girl at the tree of the sun vine. Turn my back on the looks, they might crush me. I want to bless the ground, be at home in my wings, hear the moor voices, understand the swamp. I want to loosen every knot, scream the night dream into the day. Morning luxury ; ) and inside one makes jokes. Winds, can't  you hold your fire? A little pushy. 
My solar day, my solar year got caught!

About the project: 
Since I am traveling a lot and I make music all the time anyway, I had the following idea: Soak up the vibe of the place I am in right now. Infuse these vibes into a song that also includes original sounds I recorded at the place. Film what I see and experience and edit a video to the song so that you can be there with me. And include a little tutorial for beginners to show you how I work. Combining all that, I created the series "Traveling Musician". 

The first episode is about Tokyo. I strongly felt a juxtaposition of formality in public life and work and a wonderful and crazy nightlife with lots of laughter and openness. I also thought about David Bowie's albums in the late 70ies ("I'm under Japanese influence" - Blackout), especially the "Heroes" album, and how they used drum snippets and fills on that album. My drum programming is a little tribute to that.

This song is my take on Snoke. The original score is very minimal, a very deep monk choir, a simple yet really great line. When I dove into it, I totally heard is as a Deep House / Techno tune! New EP "My Own Crazy" is out now! Woot!
I am so happy to share some of my own crazy with you through these songs and this album. All my heart is in these tunes, and a lot of sweat as well. I truly hope you will enjoy the mix of dark electronic music and uplifting vibes. With this music I continue to explore dark realms (musically and personally) while holding space for positivity and invigorating energy. “My Own Crazy” is a trip down the road to my inner self, while reflecting upon how to stand my ground as a compassionate and emotional individual in our confusing world of material and superficial success. This way I hope to spread motivation and positive vibes – things that our societies so clearly need.

I still remember when I heard "Smells Like Teen Spirit" for the first time. I actually saw the music video on MTV in the middle of the night. "What a weird video!" is what I thought. (Sports/Club/College culture is very different in Germany lol). But the music blew my mind. 
At that time I was a singer in a Stoner Rock band, while recording Pop tunes for my solo project. This song was just a perfect fusion of my two worlds. 
Here is my take on it. It's song number 4 on my EP "My Own Crazy". 
The original is perfect, so I did not seek to copy it. My goal was to reimagine it within my own style. My wonderful friend Bettina plays the saxophone on the song, which gives it just what it needs, I think.
