"Fires Light Our Way" is a story of love loss, self awareness, ownership and acceptance of pain and holding one's self accountable. I'm especially proud of this one; I wrote, recorded and produced it at my home studio at a very difficult time. In itself the creation of this piece of music, the lyrics and the delivery of my hard truths gave me closure and healing, and that's one of the reasons I love writing new music.
