Stay...
Stay is a poignant expression of the human longing to hold on to what has been lost. It's a bittersweet nostalgia that lingers, a yearning to remain connected to the past, even when it's gone. In this EP, 'Stay' embodies the ache of lost love and the struggle to heal and move forward.
"Stay" captures the fragile moment when love is no longer the same. Should you stay or walk away? The track reflects this emotional tension— letting go of something painful, yet hard to leave behind. Melancholic, delicate sounds blend with Yazed's vocals, creating a space between fragility and strength.
The original track is by Toshka, a music producer born and raised in the vibrant city of Sofia, Bulgaria, now living in the Italian part of Switzerland. Active since 2000 as a DJ and electronic music producer, Toshka embraces experimentation, blending diverse sounds and styles. "Stay" represents the most introspective side of her sound, marked by a distinctive musical character.
The remix is crafted by KVNDYO, a producer and artist from Nairobi, Kenya. Specializing in afro house, melodic, and deep house, KVNDYO combines the richness of African heritage with influences from old- school dance and disco to EDM, hip-hop, jazz, genge, and pop. He is the Founder and Head of A&R at Marcrea Music, an independent label dedicated to curating authentic and innovative house music projects from around the world.
Toshka and KVNDYO’s collaboration began through Marcrea Music, when Toshka released a remix of "New Day", originally produced by KVNDYO. From there, a musical friendship was born, growing over the years through shared productions, creative ideas, and mutual support. "Stay" is the next chapter of this ongoing journey.

The lights dim, and the scene unfolds. The camera lingers on the details: a heartbeat, a breath, a slow movement that turns into rhythm. Every gesture feels scripted by an invisible screenplay, every sound flows like a soundtrack born from the heart. It’s a suspended moment, vibrating between reality and imagination, just like a scene captured on the big screen. Everything becomes deeper, more vivid, more intense... like in a movie.

With “Like a Movie”, Toshka invites her audience on a sonic journey that captures the soul with the intensity of a cinematic scene. The EP contains two electronic tracks, conceived as chapters of a story unfolding through shadows, lights, and immersive vibrations.
Known for blending refined melodic atmospheres with hypnotic grooves, Toshka sculpts soundscapes that resonate with both heart and mind, inviting the listener to lose themselves in a flow of emotions. Her productions, infused with elegance and artistic sensitivity, move fluidly within the world of electronic music, creating an authentic and distinctive universe.

“Like a Movie” is not just a title: it is an experience. Each sound becomes an image, every beat a frame. Two tracks that flow like an inner film reel, transforming fleeting moments into vivid memories to be lived and relived — like in a movie.

“Want” is the seed of every change. It’s that small but powerful word that turns a desire into a direction, an intention into a path. It’s the moment you recognize what you long for and name it, opening the door to everything that can follow.
The “want” is the starting point: a desire to rediscover oneself and a personal expression born in a moment of inner rediscovery. That’s how “Want” came to life, the original piece by Toshka, capturing this emotional journey in music.
From there, the track found new life through the hands of three dear friends. The first is Miss Evelyn, a Greek DJ with whom I’ve built a wonderful friendship over the years. With her progressive tones and ritualistic melodies, she’s given the remix a strong, evocative character.
Then there are BLVKCAT, the Bulgarian duo of Martin Dimov and Alex Sawyer, who are taking their first steps in music production with great enthusiasm and creativity. They’ve left a unique sonic imprint on the remix, a blend of tribal energy and modern club culture.
Together, we’ve created an EP that’s truly a crossroads of friendship and creativity, where each remix tells a piece of the journey.

This track is a wish for a new beginning, an invitation to leave the past year behind and welcome tomorrow with hope.

Toshka has a great musical openness and loves to experiment with various musical genres from electronic and down tempo, organic, mental electronic, melodic techno, minimal, etc.
She knows how to be chameleonic, adapting her music to any atmosphere, offering an original sound, a professional touch with refined tracks.

In 2018 the Everything Counts project was born which in the following years released various highly appreciated releases on various important labels.

And since the summer of 2021 she has been curating the podcast of the Be With You by Everything Counts program.

From 2023, Toshka has individual program on Pure Ibiza Radio: Music Vibe by Toshka on Sunday 7pm.

Toshka carefully selects her own music and tries to create particular and overwhelming sets.
