[side quest] DeFi Kingdoms Theme (she dreamed in pixels mix)

We awoke to find ourselves having always been reptiles.

Every night her ascent of the living steps led to the canopy where she slept under the stars.

She pulled me headlong through the wall of doubt, that we might one day bask in the grimelight.

She could only watch as the sands gave way to mountains, and the mountains to scattered sky.

We stood atop a tower, which seemed to stand upon nothing yet uphold everything.

The rumbling of a buried past called from without and within. We lingered at the threshold, daring not enter.

Eruciform, she undulated upon the trunk and found that there were cycles within cycles within cycles, all pirouetting and ever-repeating.

Turning my palm toward the sky, she blinked untold realities. With each lifting of the lid, I was changed.
