This is Mendelssohn's Songs Without Words Opus 19 No. 1. The very first piece in his collection of songs without words. This is played below the expected tempo, but honestly there is still a lot of beauty in this piece at this speed. Still a bit rough.

My first challenging piece I learnt. This is an updated recording from my Kawai MP11SE after a couple of days of practise to remember the piece.

I am hoping to learn to play many of the songs in Mendelssohn's songs without words series. This is one of the simplest.

This is a frustrating recording. I love the playing for the first 2 minutes, really happy with it, but I seem to go off the rails a bit at 1:57 and it sounds clumsy for a while. It is real pity, I've never been able to get my playing to sound quite so lovely as those first 2 minutes again.
