After the release of the debut album "Love Was Easy," Simmenes/Eloah Blú felt the need to further develop the material and explore the songs in a new format. As a songwriter and jazz vocalist, she wrote the music that was released in 2021 - but now, as a music producer, she has taken the same songs and remixed each one. During the spring of 2024, a steady stream of remixes will be released.

Beautiful  - Eloah Blú Remix

"Stories from our table" is a musical work created for the performance Stemmene, where immigrant women from diverse backgrounds share their stories through dance, poetry, monologues, food, and togetherness. The track blends simple melodic lines with rhythmic elements, subtly incorporating hints of various cultural roots — from Latin American rhythms to African drums and Eastern harmonies. This fusion creates a soundscape that reflects the richness and diversity of the women's stories.

The track is opened by an intro with Fredrik Sahlander on bass and Per Ole Kobberstad on 8-string guitar, before blossoming out in a sweet, flowing acoustic samba driven by the percussions of legendary Robertinho Silva and the vocal harmonies of Sheila Simmenes, Kristin Dahl and Veronica Andersen(Vero Noah). On this track, the listener can also enjoy the gently played keys by Eirik Ask (Drongo) and the perfectly positioned melodies by sax soloist Michael Bloch.

Sheila Simmenes has gathered some of the best jazz musicians on the southern coast of Norway and is ending the summer on a high note.

Could Be Love is an old-school soul with a touch of the 2000s and a jazzy backbone. The track celebrates the hopeless romance and never ending optimism of young love.

It's the steady and laidback drum set of Trygve Tambs-Lyche, and a classic horn-section consisting of Tore Bråthen (trumpet)og Michael Bloch (sax), who opens the track and gently leads the listener further into this sweet soul.

On this track, the listener can also enjoy the bass lines of Fredrik Sahlander, Eirik Ask (Drongo) and Bjørn Ole Rasch on keys, and the soul songstresses Kristin Dahl og Veronica Andersen on backing vocals.
