What an amazing honor it was for both of us to play for MAXA for the very first time this year. After many years of watching legendary sets from some of our favorite artists on the MAXA Deer, it was a dream to be able to play on the very same art car that we had admired for years, and the experience was truly magical. 

So much love to all of our friends and family in the MAXA camp and the entire Burning Man community; we hope you enjoy listening to the set as much as we enjoyed playing. 🫶🏻

Playing the MAXA Deer had lived in my imagination for years, so when the call came to play Friday at midnight, I knew this was the moment to fully step in. 

First thing I did was call my dad and tell him: this is the year you’re finally coming to Burning Man.  He flew in Friday afternoon, and his first experience on playa was RY X on MAXA for sunset….  and he was like, "wait what? Are you playing on this giant deer?" (Lol) 

Sunset was so special -  we hugged, danced, and cried a few small tears of joy - he instantly fell in love with Burning Man.

Sharing that night with him, surrounded by so many of my closest friends, became one of the most epic moments of my ten years on the Playa.  After 2 hours of bouncing bliss, I got to hand the decks to one of my long-time heroes  - Tummetott - I couldn’t have dreamed it up any better <3 

Deep gratitude to the MAXA community for the invitation, and for the singular magic you continue to weave into the dust with your very special MAXA flavor.

This Halloween at Kama Los Angeles, I played one of my favorite sets yet for the Third Eye Lover Party alongside some of the most talented artist right now including my friends Oba Flip & Sequin Tiger. The theme was Circus Les Freaks, and the night had that raw, magnetic energy where everyone was fully in it.

The mix moves through soulful classic rock, groovy 80s cuts, and unreleased indie dance tracks, blending live textures with a steady pulse. It’s full of warmth, rhythm, and attitude that kept the floor moving from start to finish.

If you’re into indie dance, soulful grooves, and electronic sounds with a rock edge, give this one a listen.

Coming on later in the night, I stepped into a room that was already alive and let that energy rise to the peak. My Maxa family wrapped around me in the best way, creating this closeness where we were all moving together, with the lights, the rhythm, the room itself, sharing something collective. This set was special for me, not only because it was so fun, but because it was my first time in the heart of Mexico with my chosen family.
