Sheldron Dixon Rose, mejor conocido como Shel, es un cantante de reggae con influencia de soca, soul, hip- hop, R&B, calypso, y toda música de raíz caribeña. Nació en Limón, Costa Rica el 15 de abril de 1982. Según su madre, desde muy corta edad tomaba largas duchas y cantaba todas las canciones que escuchaba en la radio. A los 15 años comenzó a escribir canciones y no se ha detenido desde entonces. En el 2007 grabo "Como quisiera" uno de sus primeros sencillos, el cual llego a ocupar los primeros lugares en las emisoras juveniles de Costa Rica.
Sus influencias son muy variadas: Bob Marley, Lauryn Hill, Ricardo Arjona, Commond Sens, Marvin Gaye, Dennis Brown, solo por mencionar algunos.
Su filosofía de la vida es "Amar lo que haces y hacer lo que amas". Esta listo su primer álbum "Algo Diferente".
Actualmente se encuentra terminando su segundo disco llamado "Shel Dixon", el cual estara muy pronto en tiendas.

Sheldron Dixon Rose, better known as Shel, is a reggae singer influenced by soul, hip-hop, R&B, calypso and every genre with Caribbean roots. He was born in Limon, Costa Rica in April 15, 1982. His mother remembers listening to him, as a kid, singing in the shower every song played in the radio stations. At the age of 15 he started writing songs and never stopped. In 2007 he recorded his first single "Como Quisiera", which was top song in local radio stations.
He has been influenced by Bob Marley, Lauryn Hill, Ricardo Arjona, Commond Sens, Marvin Gaye, Dennis Brown, just to name a few.
His life philosophy is "Love what you do and do what you love"
His first album "Algo Diferente" , is now in stores. 
Currently he is finishing his second album called "Shel Dixon, " which will be soon in stores.
