Here is my 3 hours long tribal-ish/hypnotic ride from Ankali where I had the opportunity to open for A Strange Wedding.

With our 15th episode, we welcome another very talented artist to our Herbarium series. It is @alkini, the label head of the fabulous imprint @a-biotic. In his journey, he leads us through many different stages of consciousness, mixing intriguing beatless pieces with hypnotic rhyhthms.

Alkini chose the plant Lavender / Lavandula for this trip. Some words about it from his side:
'Various influences, various hues. 
I wanted to write something that resonates with myself using music that I admire.

Its color being my favorite and its scent never leaving me indifferent, lavender is the plant that brings back the most memories for me. 
It originates from Provence, in the south of France. A familiar place to me.

Originating from the western Mediterranean basin, lavender was already used by the Romans to preserve linen and scent baths. 
In Provence, lavender was employed in the Middle Ages for the production of perfumes and medicines, but it wasn't until the 19th century that its cultivation expanded.'

Herbarium No 15 - Alkini - Lavandula

London-based sound artist and DJ Jin Synth returns with a captivating new EP on On Board Music, featuring six tracks that pushes the boundaries of experimental, deep, and hypnotic techno. Among these immersive compositions, a standout collaboration with Giuseppe Tillieci aka Neel further enhances the EP's rich, textured soundscapes. Jin Synth's latest work showcases her signature blend of diverse ambient elements and innovative, hypnotic layers.

Titled "Enigmatica," the EP delves into a percussive and ambient realm, exuding a sense of mystery and the untamed spirit of the jungle. Each track intricately weaves together complex rhythms and atmospheric textures, inviting listeners into a world where every beat and resonance reveals a new layer of intrigue. Jin Synth's mastery in blending percussive intensity with ambient subtleties makes "Enigmatica" a unique auditory adventure.
