It doesn’t die loudly.
It dies slowly—
beneath the greed for cleanliness on dirty mirrors.

Anyone who truly listens to Gaia
hears no bassline of chemistry,
but the whimper of trees,
the voices and sounds of nature.

The forest is not an intoxicant.
The forest is medicine.

Protect it—
or be honest that you are part of its destruction.
