I was interviewed by the lovely Jumoke Fashola on BBC Radio London on Weds 8th June 2022 about the 50 challenges I'm completing to raise funds for Alzheimer's Research UK. 

When I turned 50 in July 2021, I committed to complete 50 challenges over a year or so in exchange for donations to Alzheimer's Research UK.

I set up a JustGiving page and asked my friends to set me some challenges. 

My dad had Parkinson's Disease and developed Parkinson's Dementia in the last couple of years of his life. My mum had Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer's, and spent the last two and a half years of her life in a nursing home in the advanced stages of Dementia. She passed away at the end of February 2022.

Research into Alzheimer's and the numerous diseases that cause Dementia is critical so I wanted to help raise funds to invest in research and clinical trials. 1 in 3 people born today will develop Dementia, and 1 in 2 will be affected by it, either directly or in a loved one.
