Shellin' snails came together through a recognition of of creativity and a realisation of collective genius!

In 2009, in a dark and sleazy drinking house, situated in a place where all pubs are second homes, started a jam session for itinerant musicians in order to sell more boooze - mostly to itinerant musicians. This experiment was expected to be an anarchic stumble and tussle for impoverished musicians; get drunk, make noise, but there was an un expected turn of events (actually, if you know anything about musicians it was entirely predictable). The idea was that the audience would shout out a theme for a song and select a random chord sequence and those players still capable would try to make a song out of it.... So to create an atmosphere of madness that would drive people to drink. However a succesion of creative explosions led to an increasing structure and developed a strong rapport between the players, so much so that this happened.
