Real Mary Christmas Wax Carnival Show Dec 22 2021

Not for the squeamish. 
Day 8 (with Leviquine) right, upper lobe pneumonia. 
Sound not enhanced. Excuse the coughs. 
The crackling sound you hear between coughs is the rubbery sputum relaxing in my chest on exhalation.
Pure glue. It resonates in my right ear so loud at night I can’t sleep, let alone breathe easy.  

I’m a never smoker. I had the 100 Day Cough from Oct. 2023 to Jan. 2024. One round of steroids, antibiotics and an inhaler. March 2024, repeat. First week of May, back at it. This time I requested a chest X-ray. WHATA YA KNOW, pneumonia! (Wow, why didn’t I think of that??)
Let’s hear it for being your own best health advocate. Seriously, this hasn’t been treated properly since day 1, well into 7 months now. 
This has been worse than the one and only time I had Covid in 2022. 
I have 2 more days on this drug and I think I might have to be even more assertive. That includes finding a new primary care doctor after nearly 20 years. 
Don’t give up on yourself. 🫁🧠🫀

This was the National Weather Services activation of the Emergency Alert System as it interrupted the WSWO Oldies 97.3FM broadcast on the night of May 27, 2019. 
An eerie look back at the night 15 tornadoes permanently changed the landscape of Dayton, Ohio and the region. 
The juxtaposition of music into this alert is chilling. Please consider; this sound clip could be disturbing to some.

In this Act, "Thee Attack", what it was and how it changed him forever,  This act published on September 24, 2020, the 10th. anniversary of the terrifying event. Producers note, I am forever thankful that my friend is alive and heartbroken for the pain he has suffered over the last decade. He continues to inspire me as I witness his steady and life long recovery. 
There are a lot of take-aways here. I hope it inspires you and you come away from it a little more educated about a health issue and a little more understanding of those who have endured a brain injury.
