THE ERA is a Chicago-based footwork crew. Members from the group have performed on Windy City live ABC 7 Chicago, London's Barbican, Pitchfork and Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago, South by Southwest and have collaborated with various artists and collectives such as Teklife, Towkio, Chance The Rapper, Savemoney and Mic Terror of Treated Crew. 
The group was founded on the Southside of Chicago. Members Litebulb, SteeLo, Dempsey and Chief Manny (along with DJ Jody Digital) met as members of the Chicago battle crew Terra Squad. Litebulb and P-Top (Goon Squad) met on the set of David Gordon Green's film "Manglehorn" starring Al Pacino, for a cameo and soon after formed THE ERA with the original members in order to push the dance and music together as one to the next level.
