Berlin’s rising talent Sunlast debuts on MUKKE with his newest single “What If I Go” Berlin based DJ and Producer Sunlast fell in love with electronic music in the early 2010s. As the years went by his passion for music kept growing and in 2018 Sunlast began to DJ. A year later he started teaching himself music production through Youtube videos. Nowadays the motivation behind his productions remains the same as when he started, making music that people enjoy and create memories to, the same way he has done with his favorite music. “What If I Go” is a blend of Melodic and Afro House. The main element and foundation of the track is the piano, which with the chord progression and its variations throughout the song keeps the track constantly evolving. Apart from the piano another element that is present throughout the entire production is an arp that, only playing one note, functions as a rhythmic element. Lastly, towards the second drop the focus of the track shifts from the piano to a catchy vocal sample that is guaranteed to have you singing along! Premiere: Dee Montero - Life [Futurescope]

Israeli/Colombian DJ, producer and founder of Underground Bloom Records Label, Golan Zocher's career started at the very young age of 17 spinning vinyl in a city where the electronic music scene was just a shadow of Salsa and tropical rhythms.

Fast forward to the present, and it’s a joy to see Golan collaborating with Choopie on this stellar EP. Golan frames it like this: “Make Me Famous EP is a special one because it represents two tracks
of different realms, where one is of light and comfort, security and sense of be- longing while the other represents a world of confusion, distress and hypnotic darkness. Both tracks for the same night but at different hours”.

Make Me Famous, the title track is the first half of this equation, with warm pads and lush chords, while Azaia brings a darker element to proceedings. We are also treated to a remix by Tel Aviv born and Berlin based Nela, who shares a gorgeous take on Make Me Famous which brings the piano melodies right to the fore.

Here’s a mega collaboration for the latest TAU release - Label heads Adana Twins team up with one of TAU’s core family members, Upercent for the Falling EP. Over the last few years Upercent has brought his distinct sound to the label, contributing to the discography with several solo EPs and singles. A formidable producer with a unique sonic identity, his link up with Adana Twins marks a big step for the label and Upercent himself. This two-track release is full of future-retro flavour, epitomising TAU’s highly influential sound and demonstrating the power of collaboration…

The title track opens the release, with an undulating bassline supporting sturdy beats with that familiar TAU swing. A wistful male vocal gives the track its emotive appeal, flowing beautifully over the low end. Together Upercent and Adana Twins build out a compelling cut, with dramatic effects complementing the vocals and layers of percussion adding energy and drive to this enchanting  composition. 

On the flip it’s ‘Move’, which has a little more urgency than ‘Falling’, rolling out with a higher velocity and kick drums that have more power. More heartfelt vocals underpin the mood of this track, with romantic lyrics. This is an all out dance floor-oriented cut which will have maximum impact around peak time. Captivating vocals, hefty beats and a range of bright, engaging synth lines and melodies combine to create an energising
track.

So, there it is, Adana Twins and Upercent, a dream team combination giving us a clear demonstration of what the TAU sound is all about…
