We used my original studio demo guitar and vocal, from years ago, on this new recorded version.  It was magic, when we recorded the original studio demo of this song, I cut the acoustic guitar in 1 SINGLE STRAIGHT TAKE, with no click (no metronome), to honor the ebb and flow of the song, which is wild! Chelsea Summer Nights (Acoustic)

When I wrote this song, someone close to me was suffering, and I desired with all my heart to soothe them, give them relief.  I realized later, this was also a song to myself. To remind myself it's ok to feel EVERY emotion, as emotions are temporary, passing through- they're "energy in motion."  That having moments of sadness or anger is natural- part of the human experience. I don't have to cover up, wear a mask, and pretend publicly "I'm great," if it's not authentic in the moment.  We are never alone, we are way more connected to each other, to love, than we realize!
