Highway Robbery is a collaborative concept album from Detroit's heavyweight emcee Guilty Simpson and Philly's burgeoning beat smith Small Professor. There’s a strong message running through the visuals for the title track taken from NYC’s Revenge of the Truence ‘H1N1’ EP.  The self-directed visuals center on footage from the H1N1 outbreak of 2009 and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. It’s a bit of a heavy watch, but it's a poignant one as well as a grim reminder of where the world is at right now.

‘H1N1’ is available now through all major digital retailers and streaming platforms via No Cure Records. The six track effort is also available on vinyl in limited quantities via Fat Beats.

Gang Starr Foundation member and rhymesayer Hannibal Stax along with Brooklyn’s leading boom-bap purveyor Marco Polo have teamed up for a collaborative project entitled Seize The Day (the duo’s mixtape/precursor, The Honorable, was released in December of 2012) which is now available via Soulspazm Records.

Originally discovered by DJ Premier, Stax has been a staple on NYC’s underground scene for years and was featured on two Gang Starr LP’s and numerous tracks that were lost in major label recording vaults. Although Stax is undeniably a veteran, Seize The Day represents his long-overdue solo debut.
