Sherwøød, London’s rising multi-instrumentalist, artist, and producer, unveils his powerful debut single, “Pride.” A deep dive into the complexities of relationships, “Pride” combines raw emotion, striking production, and a sense of vulnerability that invites listeners into Sherwøød’s richly textured sonic world.

“Pride” is a genre-defying track that showcases Sherwøød’s unique approach to music production. Fusing modern electronic elements with influences drawn from hip-hop, indie rock, and R&B, the song begins with a pulsating rhythm and driving percussion that set the stage for its hypnotic groove. The track’s pitched vocals are gradually stripped back, revealing an undercurrent of vulnerability and honesty, while shimmering synth arpeggios and a warm bassline create an emotional landscape that feels both introspective and uplifting.

‘Wait 4 U Again’ is a look at past relationships where I couldn’t realise I was being used and strung along. I was stuck, high on the feelings of longing for the relationship I thought we would have. The feelings of despair I felt are evident throughout the track, weaved through the lyrics and production that is yearnful and nostalgic. I tried to emulate the desperation I felt in the last days before I realised that this faux romantic pursuit is nothing but that. This song is that moment, frozen in time.

This self-titled EP is the first project to be fully realised by Sherwøød, made in collaboration with 5 - time gold record producer Joseph E- shine. Dubbed by TMS as “incredible”, This body of work, completed over the course of the past 3 years, is a succinct & concise look into the future of Sherwøød through the thorough exploration of his past relationships with the people around him, especially romantic relationships that helped shape him into the person he is today. The continued search for sounds & soundscapes that shape his ever-changing outlook on our personal lives as well as a commentary on society.

A relationship falling apart hurts a thousand times worse when it’s all in your head. An ode to what never was, a breakup that was not to be, ‘Nightmare’ is a celebration of the ending to a relationship that never was. An f you to what could have been, an angry, bitter middle finger to hopes of possibilities. Sherwøød revels in the collapse of this fantasy and bathes in the ashes of the bridges he burned down. It’s a fun, catchy & energetic track that celebrates the collapse of wishful thinking.

Beneath the surface, is it everything I hoped it’d be? This intimate indie-electronic song came to life through the union of two seemingly opposing ideas. The use of dynamics tells the story of my relationship with self-doubt, Fans of Bon Iver, James Blake, and Son Lux will connect with its honest, reflective tone. A song for moments of self-doubt and quiet resilience. I have a planned campaign of  daily videos, as well as PR promotion, contacts from playlists, radio stations, and magazines.
