Now based in Berlin, Germany, Sentient Number Six is the darkpsy project of Matthew Martinez, who was born in Virginia, USA in 1992.

Heralding a fearsome coalescence of all things dark and psychedelic, his production style is characterized by deep, ominous basslines, immersive, layered atmospheres, and a sinister palette of organic and synthetic leads.

From eerie, textural forest, to grinding, industrial-edged darkpsy, Sentient Number Six's sound is as identifiable and exciting as it is unique. Bringing his wide and diverse influences to life with his sound design and production prowess, he crafts sonic journeys that blur the line between the natural and the mechanical, leading audiences into the furthest reaches of the psychedelic plane.

"This mix has a solid mix of old and new music, including both my own productions and collaborations with other producers. There are quite a few tracks that are finished but unreleased, as well as a few work-in-progress tracks that I just wanted to test out in the context of a full set. Normally when I play at parties, I like to play DJ sets that showcase a blend of my own music and collabs, as well as tracks from other artists and friends that I'm enjoying at the moment. But for this podcast mix, I decided to do more of a production showcase and only play my own music. Mascalito Shesha - Can't describe the FUNK

It has been one year since me and @mascalito dropped our first EP together. So I figured it is time to bring it properly to SoundCloud. The mini mix was here before but the full tracks were only on Bandcamp and the streaming platforms. That changes now. I will be releasing one full track every two weeks. Make sure to follow so you do not miss them. This first one is one of my absolute favorites. Funky melodies, heavy groove, and that hypnotic loop that just grabs you. It builds and builds into a total catharsis moment. Made for stomping straight out of the Matrix. Or maybe back in. The full EP is already available for download on Bandcamp. Shesha (Sanskrit: Śeṣa), also known as Sheshanaga (Śeṣanāga) or Adishesha (Ādi Śeṣa), is the nagaraja or King of all Nāgas and one of the primal beings of creation. In the Puranas, Shesha is said to hold all the planets of the universe on his hoods and to constantly sing the glories of the God Vishnu from all his mouths. He is sometimes referred to as Ananta Shesha, which translates as endless-Shesha or Adishesha "first Shesha". It is said that when Adishesa uncoils, time moves forward and creation takes place; when he coils back, the universe ceases to exist.
