Look all around at everything that's gone down
Resist the urge to run
Pick up the pieces one by one
Put them together so they can see where they went wrong
But there's no answer, it's just how it is

Story - 
The wind has changed direction and the earth is tilting.
Looking up at the stars, it’s easy to get lost in the vastness, to let go of physicality. I gaze at the night sky and bask in the knowledge that we are infinitesimal specks that cluster together to create this grand ballet of expanding matter.
The wind snaps me back, slaps me with it’s sharp swing to the north west and the sweet smell of the warming earth.

Equinox

I see the wind fall in and past my window.
Thoughts are picked up, from the drifters in the street below, twisted and spun into the crackle of the air creating a swirling spire of debris. Broken leaves snapped from the branch, dance on the draft between the glass gullies, ascending the height of high towers in seconds.
Thoughts spoken at dusk will be blown away by dawn.

Are you ready cos it’s time to go
I know my darling I’ve been working for so long

When your up in the sky so wide
It’s easy to get lost in all of that space
Just find a point and fly to your new home

The sun is tempting with it’s warmth and light
But then you’ll want all the stars in the sky
You better be prepared to put out the fire

Now we need to jump right off the edge
Loose sight of this shore for a very long time
I’ve put on my wings, I’m ready to jump again
I won’t get swept up in the sky
I’ll choose a point and fly to my new home
