100% of the royalties from this release will go directly to the family of Ghasi Ram Bhopa, (Who sadly passed away last year in his home town of Jaisalmer, Rahjasthan)

The lockdown & covid times have been particularly hard on the street performers in India who traditionally rely on the tourist trade to survive. This bandcamp EP will be an opportunity to provide some support during these difficult times.

Mexico's Cirqular (Demian Lara) is no stranger to Merkaba Music, but this time, he joins forces with a resident of Colorado, SHEYTA (Jackson Looman). They met in Denver and decided that the mysteries of existence in their eyes, needed to be reflected through notes and frequencies and this how it got manifested, not only with sound but philosophical concepts behind the names of each song are being studied by both pulling them out as bass music around 80 BPM as deep and loud as possible.

For our first release of 2024, we’ve chosen to present a particularly avant garde producer, Eue, and their extraordinarily lucid Purple Sky EP. The French multi-instrumentalist has a pronounced penchant for electronica across a range of styles and tempos, from Industrial dance-floor rhythms to neo-soul downtempo grooves; this time around, he’s chosen to lean into a blend of contemporary bass music and nu-jazz compositional motifs.

Across four unique tracks, Eue manages to channel a phosphorescent fusion of neuro, IDM, and modern jazz fundamentals, blending asynchronous percussion and aqueous instrumental lines. The two solo original compositions sit alongside two collaborative tracks, featuring the talents of Android Dreaming (US) and High Dude (FR), rounding out the record with a healthy mixture of influences.
