SHFTR Started his journey at the age of 18 when he was new to clubbing. Liverpool has a big techno scene and SHFTR happened to find himself in the depths of it. Listening to techno live lead him to feel emotions he has never felt before and thus began - the love for it. Before he even owned a pair of decks he would use only a DJ software to play music to his friends at pre-drinks and afters.

He quickly realised that this new found hobby was more than just a phase. He got himself a DAW and learned the ways of producing vocal heavy, euphoric techno. As he has aged and his skills have improved, he has started to find his sound resulting in a love for faster beats. Most recently fast rhythms with bouncy bass lines has found their way into his production. 

His tracks have had support from the likes of Charlie Sparks and Mark Blair. He has provided ankle-breaking-beats in popular clubs of Liverpool, such as the WAV. There is a lot more he has to offer for the techno scene, so brace yourselves for SHFTR.
