Javelin

I sojourned to Japan at the end of September in 2014. I was alone, traveling entirely in the name of discovery. The place is a devastating beauty. I've never been so profoundly awestruck so often. While I was there I wrote five songs, one for each city I visited. This is the first of those. It was written in a 100 square foot hotel room in Hachioji, Tokyo.

So Little Of The World

An indie rock group made up of four young jazz musicians. The jazz influence is mostly in spirit, but it can be heard in the arrangements, chords, and instrumental interplay underlying the songs' pulse and energy. We aim for music that's sharp, impassioned, and exciting. The project was born in Denver but realized in Tokyo.
