After a 3-year hiatus Sorse have returned with their debut album. Echoes & Wastelands is the culmination of sketches that have been in development for years, meticulously refined into their final forms. The album showcases their evolution and reflects the duo's journey through the tumultuous period of the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when balancing heavy workloads outside of music-making greatly influenced their creative process.

Sorse's unique take on autonomic drum & bass is prominent throughout Echoes & Wastelands. The album is characterized by their spacious beats, lush melodies, glitches and textures, creating a rich listening experience that immerses the audience in its world. 
Inspired by their love for video games, particularly Fallout 4, and their engagement with the work of Mark Fisher, the album offers a glimpse into the duo's creative inspirations. Echoes & Wastelands presents a compelling narrative through its diverse sonic textures and evolving moods, marking a significant milestone in Sorse’s career.
