The second release of SHIFT Digital Audio comes from the Madrilenian talent Cesar Vinzent,including
a remix by the Greek Dj and producer George Adi.

Its minimalist aesthetic - penetrating percussion, resonating basslines, and sonorous vocals - consolidates the style and sound of a label that emphasizes raw and rough sounds. This four-track EP is suitable for any dance-floor situation, as each individual cut creates a unique atmospheric tone. 

"Rurmi" is an ideal track for those first "after-hour" moments, while "Little" offers a 9-minute interplay
of tenebrous yet exploding elements.
Eerie vocals coalesce the minimalist sound with the spirit of house on "Hold Up", which is clearly a tribute to the artist's affinity for the former and a reference to his "Cocoon" influences.

A remix of "Little," created by the head of SHIFT Digital Audio, George Adi, also appears on the EP. This comprehensive reconstruction is sure to induce a kind of moody techno trip for listeners.

The fourth release of SHIFT Digital Audio comes from the talented artist Derek M who was born in Germany and raised in Greece, his current base.

Rhythmic drums and grooves characterize 'Still Rolling' while big room effects fill the atmosphere.

Made for any dance floor, 'No Mercy' includes heavy techno kicks and a bass-line covered with clever stabs.

Atmospheric Pad leads 'Together But Alone' while sharp percussion overlays the bass-line. Rolling drums complete the foundation of the track.

Distorted and overarching synths characterise 'My Time', the final track of the EP. Dark vocals set the scene for a melody that fills the track with energy and a sense of mystery.

For the 9th release of SHIFT Digital Audio we present you VÅGH with his debut EP (Part I), including 5 powerful tracks featuring contemporary techno by the Greek artist, based in Thessaloniki.

Reflecting the EP's sonic universe "Intro" leads us to the depths of a dark, obscure world.

Heavy kicks, Sharp drums and percussive brilliance all blended with precision in "Cepheid" are pushing the energy to the maximum followed by the spacey drones and distorted synths of "Continuous Spectrum" and "System Malfunction" where the journey continues somewhere beyond the earthly.

A subtle combination of hypnotic soundscapes and ghostly drones surrounded by a heavy bass line "Inclination" builds a transcendental atmosphere with dance-floor effectiveness.

MB1's ‘Bindings' a blend of rolling drums and overarching synths mixed with a heavy bass-line warps across its run time with effectiveness.

SHIFT Digital Audio is a pioneering music label that distributes techno music written and produced by emerging artists. We release music that fills the missing void in today's electronic music landscape, or as we call it, SHIFTed frequencies.

The root of our concept stems from an idea that was born behind the scenes. As newcomers we were given a respectable amount of exposure in the foreground of the industry, and now our intentions are to complete that circle – by promoting new artists and always striving to further the evolution of techno. We will never neglect what’s happened in the past two decades, but our aim is to have one eye on the future so we can continue to drive the scene forward. 

Our catalogue will be updated with releases and podcasts from artists who are well versed on the virtues of our scene.
