Artwaq is a 22 years old DJ & producer who lives in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He started making mixes about 1 year ago and tracks since the last months. In that year he learned about how to change a regular mix to a creative energetic story. The shape of his story's are created by dark ravesounds, often rude with a sensitive touch. The bpm is often high so you are never bored of it, sometimes even closing with some hardcore. Artwaq gets inspiritation of artists like: Ihatemodels, KRTM, Manu Le malin, D.carbone and Myler. Hard kicks are his speciality and the feeling of tension in a mix gives him goosebumps.

Right after high school pursued a degree in Audio Engineering. Which is now familiar with Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Abelton, Maschine, and Reason, as well as SSL soundboards, Neve soundboards, and outboard gear from all different makers. Absntmnded has released records on labels such as L’Embuscade Records, Scale Trax, Heart’s Whispers, Industrial Violence, and Falsive Records, to name a few.

With a big love for heavy kicks, raw and industrial sounds, he recently started his journey in the Techno scene, receiving support from several artists like: Paula Temple, SNTS, Noneoftheabove, Under Black Helmet and many more! Next to visiting techno events on a regular base, he enjoys spending hours and hours producing the heavy industrial music you need.
