Rejoined by one of Overload Squads newest recruits Traumatik MC, the UK based producer continues to show us why he is fast becoming a name to be reckoned with across the world of jump up drum and bass.

Straight in with the drums on this one, Eazy leaves little to the imagination with an instant impact from the off. The build intensifies with the shake of a tamborine growing intensely in the background before the drums muffle for the sound of a voice telling you that its just 'Business' and its time to pay! The drop is nothing short of brilliant with Eazy once again showing a very digital like sound in his production. A steppy number with a glitchy bass and a flowing melody which will have you throwing all sorts of shapes and bustin' all sorts of moves. Currently tearing up the scene with plenty of support across the jump up circuit.

Shiftin Beatz Bio 

Based in Essex. Shiftin Beatz Records was formed back in 2013 by DJ AK and DJ Digibit as a joint partnership to source fresh new talent within the underground Drum and Bass industry and to promote their passion for underground music. 

Fast forward to 2017 and the label has had a slight 'shift' in its management with Co-founder Digibit leaving the label to devote his time to being a full time father. AK has since been joined by two new partners (and close friends) in Crabby and Crakey who have brought their passion for bass heavy music to the label. 

Shiftin Beatz has accumulated a mass of talent from producers, DJ’s and MC’s. Among the ever growing list of artist’s that have released on Shiftin Beatz are Eazy, Jayline, Complex, Hedex, Premium, DJ Limited, Dub Justice, Stompz, BeNNs, M.A.M.F Lyptikal, Jaxx, Sub Killaz, Simskai, Kezman, Silent Storm, Jack the Ripper, Disjointed Textures, Divided, Hives, Simskai, Skripta, Fraksure, Ironlung, Enta and many more. 

The label has historically focused on what’s new in the scene by keeping the music fresh and diverse with its wide variety of Jump-Up Drum and Bass. The love that AK, Crabby and Crakey have for the full spectrum of DnB is now reflected in the ongoing 'Shift'd Series' which was launched as an outlet to push and promote new artists to the scene that don't make the jump up music the label is known for but the team firmly believe should be getting showcased. So far this series has released vastly different music ranging from neuro/ tech to rolling jungle to lush liquid as well as high energy dance floor drum n bass.

In 2017 it's helped push names like K-i, Martyn nytraM, Critical Matter and Projekt into a wider audience and destroy dancefloor the world over with a variety of fresh forward thinking music. Aside from AK, Crabby and Crakey, Shiftin Beatz also has a very tight knit extended family of live DJs and MCs who work behind the scenes with promotion, mixes, artwork, press releases and much more. 

To date the live roster family includes members: - DJ Blazer, DJ Vex, DJ Harbz, MC YT, MC Kee-lo and MC Kruze. Within this extended family you also have MC Agzzy, MC Nabsi and MC Iffy who alongside Crabby and Crakey make up the high energy Elevated Sounds team. The DJ and MC artists roster have also been responsible for causing rave riots and wrecking rigs for high profile events and clubs on a world wide scale including booking for Rough Tempo, Let It Roll, SW4, Ram, Jungle Mania, Breakin Science, Next Hype, Invaderz, Innovation, Bpm, Ministry of Sound, Soul R, Audio Assault, Get Hype and many many more. Aside from live bookings, the Shiftin Beatz family can also be found representing the label on their own residency slots at Rough Tempo Radio with DJ AK's bi-weekly Shiftin Beatz show and Crabby and Crakey's Weekly Elevated Sounds. Both shows have seen multiple members of the live team team make guest appearances whilst also having artists releasing on the label guesting on their shows too Since 2013 Shiftin Beatz Records has become firmly established within the underground Drum and Bass scene and it is continually testing some of the bigger labels with their focus on finding new and original music regardless of sub-genre. Growth and promotion of their artist’s portfolio is key to Shiftin Beatz and it is clear that the standard is high, there is no imitating, just originating. 

The cogs keep turning in the Shiftin Beatz wheel and the label continues to keep its eyes on the underground.
