Both producer and vocalist waste no time at all with this one. From the outset you have the brilliance of Traumatik flowing over yet another horror style inspired Eazy intro with the odd violin stroke adding drama to the fold. Capping off the ep with something even darker than it began with, 'Hell & Back' does exactly what it says on the tin! Dropping with a clang-like bass and drums that pump with such authority, this one is nothing short of an attack on the senses thats been causing all sorts of damage across the scene. What is sure to be yet another jump up anthem from this duo shows us just why they continue to pair up, and you can be sure that this will not be the last you hear from this talented pair of artists on Shiftin Beatz.

Straight in with the drums on this one, Eazy leaves little to the imagination with an instant impact from the off. The build intensifies with the shake of a tamborine growing intensely in the background before the drums muffle for the sound of a voice telling you that its just 'Business' and its time to pay! The drop is nothing short of brilliant with Eazy once again showing a very digital like sound in his production. A steppy number with a glitchy bass and a flowing melody which will have you throwing all sorts of shapes and bustin' all sorts of moves. Currently tearing up the scene with plenty of support across the jump up circuit.

Telekinetic Frequencies (ft Traumatik MC)

Once again Eazy is blessed with the rising talent that is Traumatik MC for the title track of the ep. 'Telekinetic Frequencies' begins pleasantly with a rather soft melodic flute-like intro which could easily fool you into thinking this one may be something a little tamer. Cue the the tones of Traumatik with some brilliant lyrical content to make you second guess just where this one may be going. Adding some muffled sounding drums to help this one rise to the build, once it drops what you're greeted with is nothing soft at all. A firm first kick with a powerful injection of bass indicates a hard digital sound with a simple but strong pattern for the next 32 culminating with the mc vocal once again. Taking it towards the break with the next 32 Eazy throws in some extra high end bass to add even more energy ensuring that tis one is just what the ravers want. When these two pair up its guaranteed to go off!

Kung Fu Grand Master

Daunting from the off, the ever dramatic Eazy captures the attention via a bold outset with little but the odd cymbal for company. Creeping towards the introduction of the drums at the 16th, adding some more power to this already strong sounding track, while all the while coming to the forefront with some classic kung fu samples all combining to create a nice build for the drop. Stabs and waubs of bass in every 4 on this one, laid out beautifully to create that jump up sound thats so craved in the world of rave today, assuring us that 'Kung Fu Grand Master' is sure to be yet another banger snapped up by Shiftin Beatz.

This one comes out of nowhere with some killer high end stuttering bass that'll have you both nodding and shaking your head whilst sporting the most serious of bassfaces. It's not safe to walk the dancefloor anymore... Bodies are being found with their throats slit across drum n bass venues worldwide ... Whilst the authorities are left scratching their heads and wondering what the hell is happening many a raver knows exactly what the cause is... Jack The Ripper has returned to Shiftin Beatz and he's on a rampage! 

The Rippers return to Shiftin' Beatz is as anyone familiar with his handy would expect, an uncompromising massacre heading to a dancefloor near you with two slices of dnb that will leave your throat detached from your body if you cross paths with these wave forms.
Rampage does exactly what it says on the tin as the intro provides buzz saw basslines that threaten your safety. Whilst Jack would love to take the full credit for the murdering spree about to take place as Rampage drops, he is not the only vile villain responsible for the carnage about to be unleashed as a contorted vocal courtesy of MC Kollapse will leave your body in many pieces much like one of Jacks victims. There is a sinister funk present throughout this track that lures the listener in only to be caught of guard and left with their head hanging off once the track has dropped. This is axe wielding maniac drum n bass at its most disgusting. 

Energy carries on with The Rippers trademark mis-direction as an atmospheric intro fools the listener into thinking the track could be friendly until slight snatches of a saw tooth synth cut away the illusion this track is nice. Once the drop hit there's a more minimal style on display but dont be fooled-  where Rampage hacks you apart with an axe, Energy carves you to pieces with the precision of a surgeons scalpel whilst slapping you in the face with the jump up energy you would expect from Jack The Ripper.

When you think of a magician one of the first images that comes to mind is that old cliché of a rabbit being pulled out of a hat. Well on this occasion the magic being pulled out on Shiftin Beatz comes in the form of five filthy frequencies ready to start riots in dances across the globe on the 'Magician Remix EP'. The results of this release stem from a competition run by the camp which continues on our mission goal of finding and supporting up and coming talent that you may not have heard of by offering up Simskai's 'Magician' stems for remix duty. Aside from the competition entries and the overall winner on this release we have included the VIP of Simskai's original release- after a short 16 bar intro the listener is treated to a subtle twist on the original; a chopped up synth bass and puls-ing drums make the magic on this audio assault! Onto the three competition entries found within the release, each of which all deliver their own take on the original and made judging extremely hard for the Shiftin Team. However a winner had to be picked and that winner was Stompz! The 19year old cast a spell on the panel with his stripped back take on the original that rolls through with a chopped sample of the synth and suffocating sub bass at every turn. This is not the last that will be heard from Stompz with a debut release imminent on Shiftin Beatz. Material from this has already found its way into the sets of heavy weights like DJ Hype and Jam Thieves, receiving regular play at events globally! The magic within Deluxe's remix comes from keeping the stepping vibe of the original whilst bending the pitch of synth bass to levels any contortionist would be proud of. Hives' remix similarly focuses on contorting the hook synth except this time it becomes sharper than a bed of nails and saws through the listener like a magicians assistant being cut in half. The final cut is a remix from Operate with his take moving into darker magical territory; a rolling feeling is added to this version through from the pounding glitch bass and changing pitch on the synth hook that proves there's more up his sleeve than knotted together multi coloured handkerchiefs. David Blaine, David Copperfield and Dynamo beware, this is real magic beyond any illusions you can cast; there will be no disappearing ravers should any wizard wave his wand and conjure any of these five tracks in their set.

Shiftin Beatz are back and this time round sees the landmark release of their first ep. Consisting of four massive tracks this one is gaining support all over the drum and bass circuit right now. Featuring both new and previous artists to feature on the label this ones got something for everyone.

The third track on this already strong ep sees the return of not one, but two artists previously featured on the label. The one like Eazy & the fast growing talent that is Traumatik MC return with their latest offering, 'Parasites', and from the very start its plain to see why this one got snapped up. Injecting drama into the listener from the moment it begins with an elegant yet firm intro, it's not long before the instantly recognizable tone of Traumatik creeps in, adding even more intensity to this one. 16 bars in sees an extra ounce of energy added from both producer and vocalist, ensuring that this one builds as much as it needs to accommodate for the sort of drop that we just know Eazy will provide. Shiftin Beatz Bio 

Based in Essex. Shiftin Beatz Records was formed back in 2013 by DJ AK and DJ Digibit as a joint partnership to source fresh new talent within the underground Drum and Bass industry and to promote their passion for underground music. 

Fast forward to 2017 and the label has had a slight 'shift' in its management with Co-founder Digibit leaving the label to devote his time to being a full time father. AK has since been joined by two new partners (and close friends) in Crabby and Crakey who have brought their passion for bass heavy music to the label. 

Shiftin Beatz has accumulated a mass of talent from producers, DJ’s and MC’s. Among the ever growing list of artist’s that have released on Shiftin Beatz are Eazy, Jayline, Complex, Hedex, Premium, DJ Limited, Dub Justice, Stompz, BeNNs, M.A.M.F Lyptikal, Jaxx, Sub Killaz, Simskai, Kezman, Silent Storm, Jack the Ripper, Disjointed Textures, Divided, Hives, Simskai, Skripta, Fraksure, Ironlung, Enta and many more. 

The label has historically focused on what’s new in the scene by keeping the music fresh and diverse with its wide variety of Jump-Up Drum and Bass. The love that AK, Crabby and Crakey have for the full spectrum of DnB is now reflected in the ongoing 'Shift'd Series' which was launched as an outlet to push and promote new artists to the scene that don't make the jump up music the label is known for but the team firmly believe should be getting showcased. So far this series has released vastly different music ranging from neuro/ tech to rolling jungle to lush liquid as well as high energy dance floor drum n bass.

In 2017 it's helped push names like K-i, Martyn nytraM, Critical Matter and Projekt into a wider audience and destroy dancefloor the world over with a variety of fresh forward thinking music. Aside from AK, Crabby and Crakey, Shiftin Beatz also has a very tight knit extended family of live DJs and MCs who work behind the scenes with promotion, mixes, artwork, press releases and much more. 

To date the live roster family includes members: - DJ Blazer, DJ Vex, DJ Harbz, MC YT, MC Kee-lo and MC Kruze. Within this extended family you also have MC Agzzy, MC Nabsi and MC Iffy who alongside Crabby and Crakey make up the high energy Elevated Sounds team. The DJ and MC artists roster have also been responsible for causing rave riots and wrecking rigs for high profile events and clubs on a world wide scale including booking for Rough Tempo, Let It Roll, SW4, Ram, Jungle Mania, Breakin Science, Next Hype, Invaderz, Innovation, Bpm, Ministry of Sound, Soul R, Audio Assault, Get Hype and many many more. Aside from live bookings, the Shiftin Beatz family can also be found representing the label on their own residency slots at Rough Tempo Radio with DJ AK's bi-weekly Shiftin Beatz show and Crabby and Crakey's Weekly Elevated Sounds. Both shows have seen multiple members of the live team team make guest appearances whilst also having artists releasing on the label guesting on their shows too Since 2013 Shiftin Beatz Records has become firmly established within the underground Drum and Bass scene and it is continually testing some of the bigger labels with their focus on finding new and original music regardless of sub-genre. Growth and promotion of their artist’s portfolio is key to Shiftin Beatz and it is clear that the standard is high, there is no imitating, just originating. 

The cogs keep turning in the Shiftin Beatz wheel and the label continues to keep its eyes on the underground.
