It took 3 years to get this done with. Yeah, I legitimately planned this since 2019 but I never truly got to work on it due to the typical lack of motivation. Nevertheless, I kept my promise and I'm quite proud of how it turned out.

In this hypothetical AU, Asgore takes the role of Mad Dummy/Mad Mew Mew, which means the "Dummy!" replacement will maintain the Heartache leitmotif while also incorporating Asgore-exclusive leitmotif somewhere to parallel his original song.

Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore VI, the King Papyrus ending, details an ending in which everyone who could be killed by Frisk was killed with the exception of Papyrus. He's the ruler of the underground by default now, and he does his best to keep morale up in an underground more hopeless than ever before. Humans are to be treated as targets of puzzles, no matter their moral alignment. At least that's Papyrus's goal. His subjects might not be so keen on that.

Monster Kid takes the role of Papyrus. With their true hero gone, they've decided that they're gonna be the hero that monsterkind needs. They haven't fully figured out the whole "hating humanity" part yet, but they're working on it!

Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore III, the Exiled Queen ending, details an ending in which only Undyne and Asgore have been killed. Toriel tried to claim the throne, but threats of a coup quickly sent her back to the Ruins. Now the Underground is in a state of instability and semi-anarchy. Humans are to be treated as...well, it's unclear right now, but it's not good.

While Papyrus is technically the one to take the role of Toriel, the Ruins really has three caretakers: Papyrus, Sans, and Toriel herself. After Toriel's exile, Sans and Papyrus moved in with her to make sure she wouldn't be lonely anymore. Now the three of them run the Ruins together, keeping mostly to themselves but occasionally peeking out into the rest of the Underground.
