This track came from wanting to capture the feeling of being pulled under but refusing to stay down. It’s a conversation with the flood inside me, the memories, the shadows, the chaos that tried to erase me, and turning it into proof that I lived. The lyrics move between loss and resilience, ghosts of love and static light, crashing waves and fractured ruins, but every scar becomes a reminder that I still rise.

Floodlit Dreams is a hymn for the ones who don’t let silence consume them. It’s defiant, surreal, and vulnerable. Rebirth by drowning, survival by surrendering to change.

This one came from burnout.
I was chasing numbers, chasing noise, and somewhere in that chaos I lost what made it feel real. I started this whole Shiitake thing to create without pretending, but over time the noise crept in again, followers, views, metrics, bullshit.
So I stripped it all back.

The lyrics came from that reset button moment where it’s not about proving anything anymore, it’s about remembering the craft. Every line came from learning to slow down, rebuild, and make something honest again.
