This is another more of a Proto Jungle mix with more emphasise on drums rather than hands in the air piano melodies etc.
There's a lot of Mike Slammer and DJ Red Alert tracks in this one, thought I'd put some of my favourites all in one place, they fit very well together. Also DJ Hype and The Phuture Assassins are plentiful :)

An Oldskool/rave/dance/jungle/breaks.. whatever you called it back then.. mix from the 91-94 era.

Includes classics you know and love, tunes you might have heard a few times on a mix tape/radio show and not known the artist/track name and think OMG!! I remember this!.


Some of the quality isn't the best on a few tracks as they're ripped from vinyl..

Still having an issue with recording mixes, this is the third techno mix in a row where there has been a 1 or 2 second glitch in the recording, literally right near the end on this one, grrrr........

This is a tribute, not a complete remake because I'm missing Mega 2 on F-Project and I don't 
like it enough to spend 200+ USD on it.  I have Mega 1, I like it better, so I used that.  
Also the mixing on the original set wasn't terrific so I mixed this set as I would myself.
It's not clear this set was by Top Buzz (Jason Kaye) as rumors say this set was 
by Slipmatt and DJ Kickstarter Crap which may be the case.  Either way this was the first time 
I heard most of these tracks and in my own mind I always attributed this set to Jason Kaye so 
lets just go with that.  Lastly, Mad P did a wonderful job MCing this set originally so I tried 
my very best to include some short soundbites of him in here from the original lo-fi event recording.

My dad was a manager of a nightclub when i was 7-9..and got me into electro,hip hop etc. Made my first track with pro tracker on the Atari ST back in 1991?...Been a Quality Assurance video games testerthrough most my jobs.Also helped out with games design and audio production.
