This past weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of playing at the Forbidden Garden, an event I helped organize near downtown Brooklyn, NY, and it turned out to be a very memorable night. As the night went on, I realized how much music can unite us. Seeing all the smiling faces and happy people dancing was a joy. And to think that I played a small part in making that happen was incredibly rewarding. The experience was unforgettable, and I'm thankful for all the love and support I received from my friends and fam.

Playing this set at Burning Man 2023 was a truly unforgettable experience, and it happened on Thursday night, just before a wild storm hit. Playing for friends and fellow burners in the desert was an absolute joy, making the night before the rain even more extraordinary. We did not anticipate that we'd weather the storm for three days, but as it raged on, it created a unique sense of unity and resilience. When the sun finally pierced through the clouds, it felt like a genuine desert rebirth for all of us. 

I want to express my deep gratitude to @sabda-music-official for generously sharing his unreleased tracks with me; they added an enchanting dimension to the night. <3

Bal Gothique Rouge | Halloween in Brooklyn 2023

The vocals in this bootleg are from “Jamal Jamaloo,” a captivating piece from Iran’s Bandari folk music heritage. The Kharazemi Girls High School choir first introduced ‘Jamal Jamaloo Kudu’ in the 1950s, a song that embodies the essence of traditional Iranian/Persian melodies. Many believe the esteemed Bijan Smandar’s poetic works inspired this captivating piece.

What an extraordinary night it was at the Alborz Fundraiser party on Saturday April 13, 2024, held in the vibrant heart of Los Angeles, California at the Creatington space. The whimsical decor, curated by the incomparable Molly Balloons, transformed the venue into a kaleidoscope of colors, while the enchanting artworks by the ever-inspiring Olivia Steele added an extra layer of magic to the ambiance. Playing for such a wonderful community was an absolute pleasure, and the setup, with its ethereal stage, felt like something out of a fairy tale. To everyone who joined us in turning our dusty dreams into reality, your presence made the evening truly unforgettable. Here's to many more moments like this!

This year, I had the incredible honor of attending and playing at all 3 @camp_alborz fundraisers, which took place in LA, DC, & NY. It was a privilege to be part of these events before our camp heads to Burning Man. Although I won’t be making it to the ‘Playa’ this year, being a part of these events gives me a unique sense of participation & connection. I played at a late hour into sunrise, during which I embarked on an adventurous, weeeeeird, eclectic, & risky musical journey. I hope it resonates with you!
