Marius Tüffers, bekannt als akafollowman bzw. DJ MT, begann seine musikalische Reise 1997 mit den ersten Technics 1210-Plattenspielern. Geprägt von der zweiten Welle des Chicago House fand er früh Inspiration bei Künstlern wie Glenn Underground, Ron Trent,Larry Heard ,Juan Atkins, Gene Farris, Paul Johnson, DJ Sneak und Ian Pooley und Masters at Work .

Ab 2000 spielte er seine ersten Sets in Venlo (NL), Düsseldorf und Köln. Zwischen 2004 und 2012 arbeitete er im Music Store Köln, wo er seine technischen Kenntnisse vertiefte und gleichzeitig Schüler der Vibra DJ School sowie der Modern Music School Köln war. Seit 2006 produziert er mit Ableton Suite eigene Tracks und entwickelt dabei eine Klangsprache, die Emotion, Energie und Groove miteinander verbindet.
