takes you away to another place - a superb track

"Places We Could Have Gone" was initially a piano sketch for my 2018 solo piano album Sanctuary Sessions. I recently revisited and recorded the idea in the same space, then further manipulated the recordings through my modular rig to add atmosphere. The track took on an incredibly nostalgic quality that made me reflect on the past year in lockdown and dream about all the new people and places that we might have missed out on during that time.

The water itself is the second collaborator on this fluid record because this music originated from the depth of the waters where life began to proliferate in an unfamiliar faraway land. This album is a fictional story that encompasses a new way of life manifesting in a creature that inherited all of human consciousness and memory. The music flow is an experience within itself inside this creature and all life within; for all things lost, and will be, belong to it entirely.

Hello everyone, I would like to show you my new album "Pereehali". This is my third album, it was written and recorded in the summer of 2012. After a long writer's block that was caused by a very pretentious and bombastic second album I decided to make a really intimate, solo-piano work. I lived in the countryside during the recording sessions, and every recording was done by me tête-à-tête with my lovely piano in the wooden house. It was a priceless experience working and writing while having a close contact with nature, it helped me a lot to understand the music I compose, to make it more organic, touching and moving.
