explorando por primera vez con sonidos ancestrales tocando ocarina mexicana y voces de mexicanos que saben por donde va el camino: “ En aquel tiempo cuando todavía no venían los españoles, el Anáhuac representaba lo que es el area de Mesoamérica. Ahora estamos los mexicanos, guatemaltecos, belizeños, hondureños y nicaragüenses. Nuestro territorio comenzaba en Mexico y llegaba hasta Nicaragua. Todos nos respetábamos, utilizábamos poemas para combatir nuestros egos y defectos. Existía la sabiduría, los sabios, aquellos que nos enseñaban como debíamos vivir y amarnos y hacer lo que se llamaba hermandad.

Levantamos el corazón y nuestro espíritu con todo lo que existía en el mundo.
Se les enseñaba como vivir con un solo rostro y un corazón sincero. Como vivir con los pueblos y con los animales y con todo lo que la creación les daba que es sumamente valioso. Los europeos quemaron nuestros libros donde estaba escrita la sabiduría. Si algún día llevamos a saber como fue la grandeza de nuestro pueblo Anáhuac, seguramente de nuevo nos levantaremos y nuestro Mexico volverá a ser grande.

When @gottlieb-scheppert send us the track that he produced for us and asked for a good name for it, we decided to close our eyes while listening and see what comes up. Somehow we pictured a desert, or rather looking out from an Oasis into the desert. Therefore we decided to name the song after the Chalbi desert in Kenya, which is close to the project area from @love-foundation. 100% of the income from this song will go to supporting the Love Foundation's water project. She & Farid Azouri did a fantastic job and we are honored to release her first every Remix and look forward to what else will come in the future. If you do enjoy this EP as much as we do and your travel distance allows it, then come to our record release party in Klunkerkranich on 19.07 or catch Laura play at the LF Stage at Katzensprung Festival on 14.07.
